This one is half the price (or less) than a lot of the alternatives and, to be honest, I don't think you sacrifice much; you don't get a remote (which I never use anyway, especially with AirPlay) and you sacrifice a little volume.
I tried the twice-as-expensive Fideleo SoundCurve and the audio quality was pretty comparable between the two, though the SoundAvia is weaker (10W vs. 30W with the SoundCurve). It's also about on par sound quality wise as a twice-as-expensive Panasonic AirPlay speaker I have. Granted, the sound quality won't be up to snuff with, for example, the Bowers and Wilkins Zepplin AirPlay, but you're also paying a fraction as much.
If you only have a single room to fill with sound and you have reasonable expectations in terms of quality, you won't be disappointed with this speaker. - PamL - Align helps IBSI have been taking Align for just about a month.
