- Patrick Simpson - One size fits all!OK, so basically this thing now runs my car. I was getting some lag using my datalogging cable from the EEC to the laptop which wreaks havoc when plotting AFR curves at 5000 rpm with 9PSI of boost.
Anyway get this. We had the car on the dyno and normally it only puts down 430HP to the wheels. Apparently it is spinning the alternator with surplus energy!! I mean hey, my supercharger is driven by the same belt but Holy Smokes I didn't know these things made so much power.
So being the handy man I am I just tossed the laptop, supercharger and basically the engine. I just fabricated a mount from the alternator directly to the transmission and run it off a 12V battery!!!
With the surplus power it has I just daisy chained two alternators and one drives the car, the other charges the battery.
How about that? Yes, $500 is a good price considering I'm not spending $100 a week on GAS ANYMORE!! Plus I sold my engine and supercharger for about $5K, basically pocketed $4500!! BOOOYAA!

Just roll up and hit it and watch the tail lights! - Lindsay Wylie - Align actually WORKSI've tried tons of supposed "cures" before - Zelnorm never worked for me, and neither have over-the-counter medication. Special teas and other foods just made me even sicker, and I finding meals every night that wouldn't leave me in pain was quite the chore. Align was a last-ditch effort for me, and I am absolutely floored by it. Within a couple of days of taking it, I noticed a difference, and a week later, I'd never felt better since I was a teenager. With the exception of chocolate (alas!), all of my previous trigger foods no longer affect me. If I were a religious person, I'd almost want to call this a miracle. - ga_merlock - Everything I expectedI needed a new NAS to replace a 7 year old WD Mybook World, and needed the redundancy of RAID 1. After weeks of research, I decided on another WD product; the biggest deciding factor for me was the fact that I did not need to install any extra software on my computers...as close to plug-and-play as you can get. An additional benefit is the ease in which I was able to set my parents up on the other side of the country to be able to see family pictures.
Transfer speeds are great, and wake-up lag is almost non-existent. Be aware that it comes out of the box as a JBOD (the 2 drives (each 2 TB) are configured to act as one 4 TB drive), and there is no redundancy. Lose a drive, and you lose *all* of your data. You are given the option of reconfiguring the unit on initial set-up, and it will take at least 6-8 hours to build the RAID array.
